Low-Quality Liars

I have mentioned many times that I will always receive what I want. One thing I simply do not understand is why shoppers flock to low-quality stores such as Payless, Forever 21, and Charlotte Russe. These are low quality clothes that look low quality.

Let's take Payless for example, the shoes below cost $25, on sale.

The shoes below are Nicole Miller's, found at DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse), for $20.

Places like designer clearance stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and DSW are great for finding those designer clothes at a non-designer price. Another great spot is the designer outlets themselves. Although, one should be wary of outlets because some designers don't put there unsold merchandise for sale at their outlets, the put a lower-quality version of those item's sold in full price stores. For example, stores like Coach, Brooks Brothers, and Nike, make a separate line of lower quality items for their stores. My personal favorite place to find a great deal is a thrift store. The quality of the item's at your local thrift store is all determined by the income of people living around that area. My thrift store is no more than 15 minutes from country clubs and mansions.

I hope you enjoyed my post and remember quality, status and class come first!

Dear Readers,
If you are currently ready this blog, it is only fitting that you know the blogger. My name is Lily St. James and I am here to bestow my penny pinching knowledge upon you all. From shopping to travel to food, I will share it all. I would like to make on fact perfectly clear, I am no Suzie Orman. This is for three simple reasons. One, I am not a lesbian, I like men, a lot. Two, I do not know a single thing about debt, 4o1K's, loans, etcetera. And finally three, I will not make you sacrifice. My philosophy is get what you want but at a price you adore. If you want any specifics of my endless knowledge of frugal tactics, let me know.
Cordially,
